Elizabeth Klebe, D.V.M.

Dr. Elizabeth Klebe grew up in Northern Virginia where she began riding at an early age. After attending Yale for her undergraduate degree she accepted a position in the communications department in The White House. Her love of horses brought her to a career in veterinary medicine, and in 2005 she graduated with honors from the Michigan State University College of Veterinary Medicine. She competed her post graduate internship at Rood and Riddle Equine Hospital in Lexington Kentucky. She then moved to Ocala Florida and developed a sport horse medicine and lameness practice for a veterinary group that previously focused on reproductive medicine. While spending most of her time on lameness cases, diagnostic imaging, and covering emergency cases, she also completed the coursework needed to become an FEI event veterinarian. She joined our practice in the fall of 2007 and we are happy to have her as part of our team. When not working as a veterinarian Dr. Klebe enjoys spending time with her three horses Angel, Fraulein, and Isabel. She also occasionally finds time for reading novels, yoga and baking brownies.
